You need sleep and your child doesn’t seem to.
Drastic times call for drastic measures.
As much as your instincts are screaming that you need to be the adult to supervise your child at all times, what your child needs from you is being well rested so that you can co-regulate them, respond to them, and care for them effectively.
So, in short, you need sleep.
And this means you cannot be the adult supervising your child at all times.
We need to identify other, trusted adults who can keep your child alive until you awaken refreshed.
