Diaper Bag Any bag one puts at least a single diaper in. No special qualities are needed beyond the appearance of a pouch and the eponymous content.

Emotion A reflexive reaction to some other stimuli. (source)

Empathy Recognizing someone else is going through something sucky. (source)

Fatigue The mind and motivation killer, regardless of where the fatigue is occurring. Eyes, muscles, lack of sleep, etc and so on.

Feeling The physical manifestation of an emotion. (source)

The Mind’s Playground Playfully manipulating information in the mind. (source)

Motivation The pursuit of pleasure or the urge to escape pain. (source)

Mystery Bruise Club As your child experiences growth spurts, they will have to re-establish their proprioception. Until then, they’ll be a member of this exclusive club in that they will be clumsy and acquire bruises they cannot remember the origins of. Similar to ADHD Knee.

Nearby Human A person who places themselves nearby to another so as to be close and invite connection without imposing on another’s physical body.

Overreaction An old reaction which is no longer timely nor appropriate to the present circumstances, yet is based on a past circumstance to which present circumstances have a similar feeling. (source)

Private Passive A character we tend to inhabit when we are feeling scared, overwhelmed, or destabilized if our stress response is “freeze”.

Self-Awareness The ability to be aware of yourself. The perception that the self exists as a discrete entity. (source)

Self-Restraint The ability to impair or impede yourself from doing something. (source)

#SEP Somebody else’s problem. (source)

Sympathy Having personally experienced similar sucktitude such that you can have an emotional memory when someone else’s circumstances suck. (source)

Verbal Working Memory The mind’s voice. Talking to yourself in your mind, towards a goal. (source)

Visual Imagery The ability to create pictures in your mind; to foresee (heavy on the “see”) or forecast the future. (source)
